The Veltháril is the collective term for the races that evolved on Veltheron from the ancient Vorlathen, shaped by their prolonged consumption of the mystical Lunvél sap produced by the sentient Veltheris trees. This sacred connection to the Veltheris fundamentally altered the Vorlathen, giving rise to distinct races with unique adaptations suited to their environments.

The two primary races of the Veltháril are the Dovrasól, who dwell within the subterranean root networks of the Veltheris, and the Zuhálain, who inhabit the towering canopies of the trees above. Both races share a profound spiritual and biological bond to the Veltheris, yet their adaptations reflect their contrasting lifestyles—one beneath the earth, in the shadowed labyrinth of roots, and the other among the sunlit heights of the canopy.

Unified by their shared origins yet distinguished by their environments, the Veltháril exemplify the transformative power of the Lunvél and the intimate relationship between the Veltheris and its inhabitants. Their existence serves as a testament to the diversity and harmony fostered by the sacred tree networks of Veltheron.

Deracanta, Nevoszól, and Vel’vara are languages deeply intertwined with the cultures and spiritual beliefs of their respective peoples, each reflecting a profound connection to nature, cycles, and the essence of life.

Deracanta, spoken by the Zuhálain, is a fluid, melodic language shaped by themes of balance, harmony, and the cyclical flow of life. Its sound is soft and rhythmic, with liquid consonants and gentle fricatives that mimic natural elements like wind through leaves. The language is gender-focused, using specific suffixes and prefixes to denote masculine, feminine, and neutral forms, reflecting roles within society. Compound words are common, layered with meaning tied to the Zuhálain’s reverence for nature and spirituality. Deracanta is more than a means of communication—it’s sacred, spoken softly in rituals, sung in ceremonies, and passed down through generations to maintain cultural identity.
